![]() I've been doing lots of research on the Trinity. So it's very conflicting for me trying to get past all the things the JW's drilled into me. I always had it in my heart that I wanted to be a Christian, the way the JW's would speak of them was as if they were evil. I'm reading the New Testament (NLT) right now. My main questions are learning more about Christianity, I started visiting a local Free Methodist Church and it has been a positive experience unlike anything I ever experienced at my old Kingdom Hall. ![]() However whether my family chooses to shun me is up to them, some have chose to do so. I was never baptized, so I cannot be disfellowshipped. I couldn't wrap my head around disfellowshipping and shunning former members as showing "Christian Love" and protecting the "Flock".
